batteries?

Hi, i'm new here & i'm going to try to assemble my first electric boat. I have a top speed3 tunnel hull, a 36/56 aquacraft motor, 100amp esc, What would be the better battery to try? 14.8v 5000mah 30c or a 14.8v 4800mah 45c Thank you in advance for your help.

Either would work fine, what brand of batteries? Some are better than others.
I've had very good luck with GensAce 5300 mah 30c batteries in a variety of boats all running basically the same motor as you have.
Tunnel hull, mono, cat, hydro. All with "spec" motors.
hobbypartz.com they are in California so faster and cheaper shipping than China. Never had to deal with their customer service so I don't know about that aspect.
RClipos.com if you are interested in high end packs. Amazing customer service there in my experience.
I personally won't buy batteries or electronics from China anymore, I'll pay a couple more bucks and buy the same thing from a North American retailer who will stand behind the product they sell.
If you factor in shipping a lot of the exact same products actually cost less if you buy in N.A. and if they arrive DOA they will be replaced.

So Siberianhusky you have you had any problems with hobbypartz shipping Lipos to Ontario!I was thinking of trying them as a alternative to hobbyking.
