I bought a Fullers carbon fiber lower unit for the TS2 conversion. A quick question will save me time and a few bucks. Does anyone know the prop nut size for his shafts? I tryed the 2 differnt ones I have and they dont fit. Closest hobby shop is 45 min away and there are at least 7 differnt sizes to pick from on line.

Hey ICE... I'm sorry I didn't resond sooner on the PM you sent... Was out with my wife for her birthday yesterday...
The threads on this should be the same as on any K&B Lower unit, or any other 3/16" prop shaft for that matter... 10-32 threads...
Something like this should fit: http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...od=oct-oc6pnmm
I prefer these days to use the Prather style crush-nuts like these: http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...p?prod=dh-8135
The cones can be out of true/balance and wobble a bit, plus they dont' "lock" on the shaft like the crush style do, so you won't lose as many props...
OSE has them both in stock it appears... Hope this helps...Darin E. Jordan - Renton, WA

10-32.... thanks Daren. Its ok I figured you were busy so I posted it quick here. I will add it to my parts order. The TS2 is coming along. Got to build something for a rear radio box, I am gonna leave the front one in place. Well we will see what happens. Did the water pickup and mounted the outboard last night.
I said this was a winter project but now that I started it...heheh I want it done so I can try it. Cool boat.Last edited by ice329; 12-16-2007, 12:11 PM.Comment
