I bought 2 Turnigy 4s 40c 5000mah batteries about a month ago. One battery i've ran maybe 3 times the other once. I charged the battery that I have only used once last night. I had no problem with it charging. It wasn't hot or swollen when it came off the charger. Anyway I go downstairs to my work bech this morning and there is a funny smell I picked the pack up and it had swollen it was hot and it looked like it was about to burst. The battery had been off the charger for 12-15hrs,and was just sitting on my bench. Is this normal for these value priced Lipos?

No this is NOT, please place in a bucket of salty water. Leave for 5-7 days and the pack will be discharged and harmless. I suggest you ship back to supplier asap as there could be a quality control problem

First order 1 out of 2 - bad
Second order 1/5 - bad
I just figure to add the cost of at least 1bad battery with every order.
HK knows that a US order is not going to send it back.Comment
