Just got the GPS in the mail. This thing is small, and nice! With the AAA batteries installed, wrist strap removed, it weighed 2.6 ounces on the workplaces certified postage scale. Apparently their weight of 3.1 ounces was with the wrist strap, so this is a nice surprise. Outside dimensions of the unit are: 2 7/8" x 1 3/4" x 7/8". If you cannot find a place to fit this in your boat, then your boat is to small! haha, Mike
