I purchased a Key Chain Style Video Camera from FleaBay that records in 720p X 480p (HD?) format to capture on-board vids.
I constructed a waterproof enclosure using a 1-1/2" PVC slip coupler & cap plug. The window glass (plastic) was from an old microwave oven door, which was attached to the coupler using 3,000 PSI marine (cures under water) epoxy. The base is 1/8" 5 ply plywood, secured with a 10-32 flat head machine screw & 30 minute epoxy. The base has 1/16" thick silicone rubber 'feet' glued on to prevent scratching a hull when taped in place.
