Garmin forerunner 201 vs foretrex 201

    Hey Guys,

I'm looking for a garmin to check my MPH on my boats. I understand that the forerunner 201 will work, does anyone know if the foretrex 201 will do this also?

    Thanks,
    Howard

I have the Foretrex 201. Works fine and the built-in rechargeable batt feature has proven to be a big benefit.

I just put a Forerunner 201 in my Spartan and love it. Long battery life (internal) and has a custom page where you can select what it tracks. You can also buy a bicycle mount to use for hard mounting it.
