Silver Solder or Good Old 60/40 Rosin Core

I've been soldering on connectors for my new SF 220 Amp ESC. I noticed the 8/10 Ga silicone wire that i've been receiving is silver stranded (no more Copper I Guess) Currently it's hard to find old leaded solder. What's better to use on wiring, and connectors?

I like 63/37 myself but 60/40 works well too, the temperatures needed to silver solder will anneal your connectors lowering their spring pressure and increasing there resistance, the heat also risks damaging any electronics on the other end of the wire, blowlamps can also introduce static charges that pose a risk to electronics, so I would highly recommend using something that can be melted with an iron or gun.

The silver is "tinning" it prevents Black Death. I use 60/40 on 8mm bullets with no problems at 200 amps.

I use 60/40 on everything I run. 5.5, 6.5 and that's even on my battery leads. I've never had any problems.

I use 60/40 as well . Never any issues. Use a propane torch to heat the bullet then just start feeding the solder into it.
