Traxass is a HUGE r/c company. They offer tons of great rtrs in cars/trucks. They have recently been making Lots of very high quality brushless rtrs. they also have waterproof servos and esc's. Now to my question. Why the hell do they not make a halfway decent rtr fe boat? they offer a few boats, but they're pretty much just novice or entry level brushed boats. I'd love to see them get into real fe boats, I think they have a lot to offer.
Traxxas?! WTF?!

I'd bet they have most of their R&D funds in trucks & cars"A quick temper will make a fool of you soon enough."

I would love to see them do FE boats and such but I would agree with Diegoboy about their funding.
I think they're broke after these new 1/16th trucks lol...better pay that R&D off first :)Comment

I agree 100% with diegoboy. Look at how many people either start off with, or run a fleet of traxxas cars. Only the people with kit building skills or the need for that extra racing edge move on to the other companies like losi and such. And look at the readyness of spare parts and gigantic aftermarket inventory. Not to mention the fact that parts are interchangeable from model to model so aftermarket companies can produce one part that markets to 3 different cars. There money is made there, so they stick well to it.
Still though, a velineon powered brushless 29inch vee wouldnt be that hard for them to do at all. They have all of the electronics well covered. Might have to step it up in the hardware department though.
Either way Im first on the waiting list for the mini revo when it hits the shelves next week.Comment
