What rubber grommet is everyone using?!?

Yes, it's me again. I bought a pack of these-> http://www.gravesrc.com/TRAXXAS_Driv..._p/tra3840.htm , but I can not get them to fit correctly. I want that same rubber grommet for my Spartan that everyone else seems to be using. I'm talking about THIS one->http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w...s/ae17bfd8.jpg That's a pic of Dag Nabit's Spartan. What grommet is that? Where can I get one? Thx in advance for all responses!

I just used a grommet I had in the parts bin at home. I bought an assortment of rubber grommets several years ago just to have them on hand. They are the kind you would use to protect wiring when running through a bulkhead.

Something with a 1/4" inside diameter should work.

Some guys have cut a piece of rubber hose to fit.

NOTE: I have since gone to the mod shown in this thread, about 1/3 way down on first page. http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...lly+got+to+run

Yep simply get a piece of 6mm or 1/4" bore silicon exhaust tube from a hobby store & cut a piece to the required length. The silicon is quite soft so squashes between giving a good seal.

I picked up my grommets at a general hardware type store. Automotive supply might be good as well.

For hose, I'm not sure, but would think a hardware or automotive store might be an option if your hobby shop doesn't carry something suitable.
