This came with a truck I bought in Feb/March and was replaced by the new Link radio system. Only used a few times before being stored.

The 2217 Receivers are dirt cheap on eBay and the radios are a great entry into 2.4ghz.

This Tx binds with multiple 2217 Rx's (One Tx for many Rx's) and has a very long range compared to AM or FM.

All Traxxas 2.4Ghz gray transmitters only bind with the 2217 4ch Rx, but will bind with multiple 2217's.

FYI- these have a lifetime warranty through Traxxas, anytime you can send them in without receipt and get a new one for a small fee. Good stuff. Sent one in I dropped in the ocean, $20, sent me a new one. =)
