Feeler thread: Very nice EKOS 70mph+ package

Hey guys. Im thinking of selling my EKOS. It's a brand new build. In fact, I still have to mount the servo and add a couple carbon fiber pieces, which I will be doing this week. I intended on making this cat easy on the eyes, and I think I reached my goal. I love the way it turned out, but Im building another twin engine cat right now and might just keep one. I need some cash for a car I am currently rebuilding.

So, Im looking to sell this as a package to whoever is interested. Motors, escs, lipos, ect. Just add your radio and have one of the fastest EKOS out there.

    Key features:

    (2) Castle ICE 100 escs
    (2) Suppo 1500watt 2200kv motors
    (2) 5s Sky Lipo 3300mah lipos (new)
    (2) .150" flex drive system (couplers, flexes with .187" shafts and drive dogs)
    (2) CR props x442 sharbened and balanced
    - Bluebird low pro high torue servo
    - Carbon fiber inlay, motor mounts, servo mount, stuffing tube supports

Asking Price $675 shipped Cont. US

If you are interested in this boat at a lower cost, I could change components or sell it without some things (props, escs, ect). I have (2) Suppo escs I could swap for the castles and would take $100 off of the price.

    Here are some pics:

To those asking about hull and hardware:

I built this boat to work well with the components that are in it. That being said, I value the work I did on this boat more than any of the components that I am including (not to mention the investment I have in carbon fiber!). It is obvious to me that a lot of people feel the same way, as I have had quite a few inquiries about buying the hull/hardware without electronics.
This (in my opinion) is a beautiful boat, and the components are just pieces that come with it. I will not sell this hull for less than $500 without electronics. I dont know why anyone would buy it that way (the electronics are worth enough that it would be silly), but so many have asked I figured I would cut down on PMs and just address it here.

I will post a few more pics soon...either tonight or tomorrow. The servo mount is now in, it looks great

Keith, i think once you get it finished just take it for a rip and make a video, i'm sure once potential buyers see that it will sell quick! i bet rcbidder will be all over it, surprised he hasn't inquire already??

I don't know who "rcbidder" is, but maybe I will be able to take the EKOS for a spin tomorrow
This boat is stunning in person. I'm really happy with how it's coming out. I'm not sure I will sell it if I run it. That's part of the reason I made this thread before it was finished, so I had the possibility of selling it before I became attached

Here's a pic I took last night. It really doesnt look impressive in the pic but it looks sweet in person. Servo is mounted and I will be working on linkage in a few minutes:

I think I could get it done for a $50 shipping charge. I just ran this boat for a quick test run today. It is VERY fast. I didnt get close to full throttle, the lake I was on wasnt large enough for that kind of speed. It definitely has the capability to run SAW speeds.
I am seriously considering keeping this boat now and just sellnig some other stuff, but for now if you want it, let me know, and its yours. Otherwise I will probably take it out of the swap shop.

From the OP's description of the motors, they sound like Suppo H3126/3's.

                        Nice boat, Keith!

Osprey21 is correct, they are 3126's. I bought the motors from fightercatracing.com
They are not very expensive motors, but they work quite well. I have one of the same motors in my 26" mono and it screams! They are similar in size and power to the Scorpion HK3026's.

                            Ok...Here's the deal:

I ran this boat yesterday and I'm really struggling with the thought of selling it. I have had a few PMs from people that are interested, so I am still giving them (and anyone else) a chance to buy this boat. I dont like to be the kind of person who lists something and then tells you its not for sale when you try to buy it. So, the boat will be for sale for 8 hours from this post. Paypal will have to be made BEFORE the 8 hour period expires if you're interested, after that, you're out of luck. $675 for the package of $500 without ESCs, motors, and lipos. I think that gives anyone with interest in this boat plenty of opportunity to buy it.
