    can they be mounted on the hull? as in taped to the deck ? are they semi waterproof ?

      No, you would need to use a corrosion x or similar.

        There is the expander version which is made to be mounted outside the cf was just thinking if i go mental with the hatch tape on it on top of the deck it'd be fine will probs order one anyway 2 moro

        doesn't work with the v4 tho

          Do the old v3 sensors work with it? E.g., the GPS?

            The actual logger has not changed. Just the gps module has been updated.

              So, does any 1 have any concerns before I order 1? Will they be ok mounted inside cf or ontop of the deck with hatch tape covering?

                I would suggest waiting a while before buying one if you want to use it in a carbon hull.

                  i have other boats i can use it in so not the end of the world just ordered one + a logger and some temp stuff

                  have small plastic bag which can be sealed and stuck to the hatch for the cf hull

                      Jut put it in a balloon. You can get one with a wide opening. I use condoms becouse I get them for free Then just tape it to the boat. use a rubber band on the end to seal it. hope this helps ya

                        I hope they are new and non lubed!

                        Actually, this new version and price is fantastic! i was planning on buying one this spring, but without the gps. For sport running, couldn't bring myself to spend the coin. But now, yeah, I can do that. I should order on in March, so about the first day of march you should sell out for the next several months!
