    Lack of battery power?

Is it possible that you can have a correctly charged batteries with all the cells being even but there is just no punch to it ? Im asking because my PT 45 slowed down on 18 volt Thunder power 45-90c batteries but is fine with the 14 volts. The 18's will only go 75mph , down by 11-14 mph, but the 14's are fine at 66-68mph so I know its not a radio/esc problem . Also there really is no "crack" when the batteries are connected but there is with the 14 volts. Again all cells show normal and are ballanced and will come up fully charged. The strange thing is my data logger shows almost the correct rpm with a lower voltage ??? They have puffed slightly a few times but always returned to normal state. Are they just tired ? Again the Eagle tree is really not showing a dramatic issue.

        I hope you made a typo................40 volts x 2300kv = 86,000 rpms. you sure its not 5s2p?

2p should be delivering enough amps........is there a bad solder on one of the batts or parallel connectors and the voltage is flowing but no real amperage is provided from one part?

I am wondering this same question. I have a slightly puffy 5000 mah 30-40c pack that i usually use in parallel with its matching pack but i forgot my parallel harness so i was just gonna do one at a time. Put the boat in the water hit the throttle all was fine, came around one corner and it slowed to half speed???

brought her in, reprogrammed esc and tried it again... same thing. So i try a 4s 5000 mah 20-30 c pack and the boat ran just fine.

I've heard some people saying the lvc in the t120 is no good but mine never did anything funny till that. I was thinking the one battery was sagging to lvc but the other pack is newer so it still has punch.

Could be but its strange that it charges OK. Id really hate to throw out a $360.00 pair of batteries but they are 2 years old with many runs on them . Im going to try a new set and see the difference .
