USPS (United States Postal Service)
-First Class Mail, This is the least expensive shipping method we
offer. Normal Delivery time from 3 to 12 business days (In most instances
packages arrive within 3 to 5 business days). Includes insurance to your front
door, no tracking and no signature on delivery. If you require signature and
tracking please use UPS Ground.
-Priority Mail, Medium priced & Very fast. Normal delivery time
from 1 to 5 business days (In most instances packages arrive within 1 to 3
business days). Includes insurance to your front door, no tracking and no
signature on delivery. If you require signature and tracking please use UPS
Ground.
UPS (United Parcel Services)
-UPS Ground, Medium to Higher priced. Detailed Tracking
with signature required on receipt. Normal delivery time from 2 to 5 business
days. Includes excellent insurance coverage for damaged items. For this reason
we use this method (when possible) on all hull and rtr boat orders, even if you
select USPS Priority Mail. The reason for this is, that if an item is damaged
during shipping the US Post Office has a very complicated and drawn out claims
process that would delay resolving damage issues.
Shipping costs are
based on total package weight. We add a $3.95 handling charge to each parts order.
Boats and hulls may require an additional handling cost based on size of
packaging. We do our best to have the website estimate the correct shipping
cost, but do to the irregular sizes of boat hulls, this is sometimes difficult.
Larger items like boat hulls or RTR boats will be shipped United Parcel Service (UPS). We
guarantee that all the items we ship are delivered to your door step.

Online Credit Card Purchases.
We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express and
Discover Cards. Our secure shopping cart will only send us your billing
info and the funds. We are not sent your credit card information. So you
do not have to worry about us storing your personal credit card
information.

Its not a problem if you don't have a credit card
or just don't believe in using your credit card online.
First add the items you would like into your online shopping cart. Then
click the checkout button. At the end of entering your personal and
shipping information, there will be a payment method option. You can
pick money order. Once you do this you will not be asked for credit card
info. The order will come into us. At this time you can mail a check or
money order. Or if you would like you can fax a printout of the order
with your credit card info to 617-884-1483 and we will charge the card
in the store and send you the parts.

International Shipping to most destinations in the world
(including Canada).

to 4 pounds and can fit smaller parts. No tracking and No insurance included

-Express Mail, Medium to Higher priced. Very fast and Includes
Tracking. Normal delivery time from 3 to 6 business days. This method is
required for orders over $200.00
To estimated your shipping costs, add the items you require to the shopping
cart, than click the "check out" button and follow the instructions.
We are not responsible for local taxes and Customs duties. This is added
by your governing body once your shipment reaches its destination. Please see your
local authorities for more information. Please do not request that we falsify
your invoices.
Defective or warranted items must be returned prepaid at your cost. This means
the shipping costs of the items being returned to Offshore Electrics must be
paid by the customer. Upon inspection we will repair/exchange the item and pay
for the return shipping costs of the item back to the customer.
All international payments can be made online using a credit card
or
www.Paypal.com. To select the method, add
the items to your shopping cart, than checkout. At the end you will be able to
pick Credit Card or PayPal as the payment method.

Policies and Procedures
Returns
Offshore Electrics Inc. has set the following guide lines for
Returns.
All items can be returned for a
refund if unused and in resalable condition with all instructions within 30days
from purchase. Customer must pay for return shipping and 20% restocking fee.
Canceled orders will also be charged a 20% restocking fee. The
returned merchandise must be in new and unused condition and in its original packaging.
Mounting and running fuel through a model engine, installing radio parts in a
model, cutting up balsa sheets in kits, installing software or discarding the
packing material are some examples of what constitutes used merchandise. We do
not accept returns via COD or billed to Offshore Electrics Inc. in any way. No refunds
after 30 days.
All outside shipping boxes should be inspected prior to
signing UPS/USPS delivery sheet for damage. Any damaged items from shipping,
must be brought to the attention of the shipping company and claim should be
made.
Most Rc boat problems come from water damage while running
your boat. See Tips for Help
keeping water out.
Any other problems with items can be straightened out through
the forum or email tech support.
All sales are final once the item is used in any way. All
warrantees are covered by the manufacturers. Please contact us as a go between
if there is a problem contacting the manufacturer.
Any custom made items and parts are not returnable at all.
Canceled orders are charged a 20% restocking fee.
Any shipping costs on defective or warranted items must be
returned with all shipping costs prepaid at your cost. This includes the
shipping costs of the items being returned to us and the items being shipping
back to you as replacement.

OUR PERSONAL CHECK POLICY
While we attempt to bank-approve personal checks for
immediate shipment, this may not always be possible and we may hold your order
for 10-12 business days. To ensure that your order is shipped as quickly as
possible, please send a money order, certified check or use your credit card.
Business checks are treated as regular personal checks. Customers whose checks
are returned to us because of non-sufficient funds will be charged $25.00 for
handling in addition to the amount of the check. If it becomes necessary for us
to use an attorney or collection agency, you will be responsible for all
collection fees.

Offshore Electrics Inc. accepts no responsibility for crash damage and/or loss of
kits, engines, accessories, etc. incurred during operation of a radio-controlled
model. In most cases it is very difficult or impossible to determine whether
crash damage was actually due to radio equipment failure or to operator error.
Also, we cannot be held responsible for any purchased components that are
incorporated into radio systems or problems caused by incompatibility between
radio components or parts.
Offshore Electrics Inc. contains hyperlinks to other web sites
operated by parties other than us. We do not control their web sites and are not
responsible for their contents. Surf with caution. Report problems to us.
PRIVACY STATEMENT
Offshore Electrics Inc. does not sell or share any of its customers personal
information with any other company or marketing agency.. We can't be held liable
if a hacker or thief steals any info. We have chosen Paypal as a Secure Shopping
Cart.
We may choose to market our products, sale items, newsletters
and upcoming releases to prior customers and visitors to our site. If you
decide in the future to not participate in this, we will also provide a link to
remove yourself from this list. We reserve the right to use your personal
