Simple way to test a water system in your boat for leaks.

Remove the water aerator on your faucet (without your significant other knowing :-) ), bring it to the local home center and purchase a $3 adapter in the correct thread, that's normally used to attach a garden hose to a household faucet.  

Then epoxy a piece of fuel tubing into it.

Once the epoxy is all cured, attach the tubing to the water system of your hull and crack open the handle on the faucet, VERY slowly, so not to put too much pressure into the system. Pretty simple.

Once the water is turned on you with be able to watch the water flowing threw the system, to find the water leaks before hitting the pond.
