A common path for water is the stuffing tube, This is a simple way to slow down the water coming into your stuffing tube and into the hull. Use a small piece of fuel or water tubing over the stuffing tube and onto the cable. Make sure the tubing isn't tight on the flex cable. Most properly sealed boats can run for five minutes and have only a few drops inside.
